
The latest footfall figures for Dartmouth show that in line with the rest of the country the new lockdown has ended the rush of visitors to the town.
A decline of 35% over last year is significant but understandable in the circumstances. However if there is a bright side it is the fact that our decline is lower than the rest of the South West and the UK as a whole. Cold comfort for our traders I know but a slight silver lining!
